Direct Yellow 11 liquid is used for coloring fabric and paper. It is used for dyeing cotton, viscose fiber, and related knitted fabrics, producing a bright reddish-yellow shade. It exhibits relatively poor leveling and migration properties. After dyeing, treatment with a fixing agent is required to improve wet fastness. It is commonly applied in dyeing viscose-silk blended fabrics and can also be used for silk and wool. Notably, this dye has a strong photodegradation (light-tendering) effect.
Storage:Cool dry place
Production Method:5-Nitro-o-toluenesulfonic acid is used as the starting material. When heated in an aqueous sodium hydroxide solution, it undergoes a self-condensation reaction to form the product. Depending on the sodium hydroxide concentration, reaction temperature, and reaction time, various yellow dyes or dye mixtures can be obtained.
