Chemical properties:Black powder. Insoluble in water and ethanol.Dissolves in sodium sulfide solution, appearing dark green.Forms a greenish-black precipitate in hydrochloric acid.Turns blue in sodium hydroxide solution.Slightly dissolves in cold concentrated sulfuric acid, turning dark greenish-blue upon heating and forming a precipitate; further heating changes it to black-blue, and dilution produces a greenish-blue precipitate.

Applications

Mainly used for dyeing cotton textiles, but also dyed hemp, dimension, viscose and cotton blended textiles.
Suitable for rolling, uniform color, good permeability, high fastness, no brittle treatment. It can also be used for dyeing leather and coloring of viscose fiber solution.

Storage

It should be stored in a dry and ventilated place to avoid direct sunlight exposure and prevent moisture and heat.
