Product Description

[Ingredients]
Name: Diformiated ethyleneglycol
Molecular Formula: C4H6O4
Molecular Weight: 118.09
CAS NO.: 629-15-2

[Properties]
Appearance             Colorless, transparent liquid
Content:                    98.0% min
PH Value:                 3 min

[Application]
This product can be used as textile auxiliary, or as acidifier for fiber and its products in dyeing or printing process. Especially suitable for dyeing nylon and chlorinated mercerized wool.Add in dye bath directly, the dosage is 1~3g/L.

[Characteristics]
1.    Shorten the dyeing time, improve the production efficiency
2.    Can be added at high temperature
3.    Help to dye equably

[Properties]
It's acid gradient, with the increasing of temperature, the organic acids is released gradually, so the PH value of dye bath reduced slowly .When use acid, reactive, mordant or metal complex dyestuff to dye the wool and nylon fabric,DBS  adjust the dye bath range from neutrality to alkalescence at the beginning.
So the initial dyeing rate is slow and the dyeing is uniform. With the temperature is increasing the dye bath become acidity, this will help to dye completely and ensure the best reproducibility of dyeing.
For the initial dyeing rate is slow and leveling is good, you can quickly warming.As a result, the time of dyeing is shorter and the production efficiency is improved.Can be added at high temperatures, unlike most of the free acid will cause dyeing defect due to uneven spread. DBS can spread first, then release acid. So that the PH value of dye bath can decrease evenly and dye equably.
