Production

Sodium benzoate is commonly produced by the neutralization of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) with benzoic acid (C₆H₅COOH),^[3] which is itself produced commercially by partial oxidation of toluene with oxygen.

Application:

This product is a good food preservative, can be used for all kinds of food and beverage antiseptic sterilization. Such as soy sauce, pickles, jam, soft drinks, drinks, such as good effect. Can be used for antiseptic sterilization of various drugs in pharmaceutical industry, and have certain anti-cancer effect.
