BPA is white crystal.
Chemical Reactivity:
BPA is a strong reducing agent and reacts rapidly and exothermically with oxidizing agents such as nitric acid or hydrogen peroxide. It is not sensitive to physical impact.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
A color stabilizer (where hindered phenols are not effective) and modifying agent for
polyamides, an antioxidant, an intermediate for forming metallic salts used as stabilizers, and accelerator for organic peroxide catalysts, a free radical promoter in emulsion polymerization, and an improver of polysiloxane resins.
